It was a big week for high school football

It was a big week for high school football in Irvine as four of five squads posted victories.

Northwood, Irvine, Woodbridge and University all captured nonleague wins.
Nick Greenberg of Woodbridge intercepts a pass and returns in 85 yards for a touchdown against Segerstrom Friday night. Greenberg was one of the stars of the week. But the return was not a school record, according to Coach Rick Gibson. Gibson said another Warrior player intercepted a pass in an end zone and returned it for a TD.
